Reverend Joe L. Banks

Reverend Joe Louis Banks is the son Reverend Willie S. Banks and the late Mrs. Willie Lee Parker-Banks of Bamberg, South Carolina. He is the 8th child of 10 children. Reverend Banks was raised in church as a child, participating in any and all ministries in the church.

At the age of 4, Reverend Banks begin singing with his Dad and his older brothers in a quartet group, known as the Amazing Singing Sons of Bamberg, South Carolina. With the help of God and training by his father and older brothers, Reverend Banks traveled to many cities and local towns, singing praises to God. As an adult, Reverend Banks has been invited to many cities  to share his anointed voice. In 2006 - 2008, he was invited to Shekinah  Glory Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia to lead Praise and Worship during their Men's Retreats. In 2006, he was invited to the John P. Kee Victory in Praise Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina to sing and 2006 - 2007, Reverend Banks participated in the first ever Gospel Focus Music Search, traveling to cities such as Durham, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia and Cleveland, Ohio at the Semi-Finals.

Reverend Bank grew up as a an active member of the Capernaum Baptist Church, Denmark, South Carolina under the leadership of Reverend N.A. McNeal. On April 21,1997, he was ordained as Deacon at Capernaum Baptist Church. While at Capernaum, he sang in choirs, taught the teenage Sunday school classes and work in many other capacities as needed. In March 2010, Reverend Banks returned to his roots, Capernaum Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Clary Green. On April 25, 2010, Reverend Banks was licensed at the Capernaum Baptist Church by his Pastor , the late Reverend Clary Green. On June 21, 2010, Reverend Banks was ordained by the Bethlehem Baptist Association at Capernaum Baptist Church, Denmark, South Carolina. On August 22, 2010, Reverend Banks was officially installed as pastor of St. John Baptist Church. He served faithfully as pastor of St. John Baptist Church for one year. Reverend Banks now travels and evangelizes by preaching revivals. Since Reverend Banks answered the called to preach the Gospel, he has been invited to many churches in surrounding area, many cities in South Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia and also to Washington, DC to preach revivals.

Reverend Banks is enrolled as a student at the W.L. Bonner Bible College in Columbia, South Carolina, majoring in Pastoral Counseling.

Reverend Banks is Married to Jennifer Felder-Banks, and they have one son, Jorell Morgan.

His goals and aspiration in life is to do the will of God and allow Him to use him for His Glory.
